I have material thing like this mobile phones,Nokia N70.It so expensive because I'm a student and don't have income for myself.But my father gave it when I can admission to Kasetsat University.I accept,I decided select this one because "image" and special function.
Sometimes it rather necessary for my life such as when I have an urgent business and want to connect another people.I can use it. Really I pay about my phone very much,for exanple memory card,plastic mask,battery and others accessory.I think it extravagant.So I will attempt to spend money carefully and don't spend about mobile phone too much.

I have mobile phone, Nokia 7360. It so expensive for me because I don’t have any income. This my mobile phone, My father gave me when I can pass Admission to Kasetsart University. I select it because I think it not expensive to equal other, Even if it don’t have many function. But I really want it for connect to another people and my parent I don’t want use it for other benefit.
Sometimes it can make me happy and enjoyable. For example, I can listen to music and radio, take photo, play games etc. from it.

Many modern teenagers think if he or she uses higher technological mobile phone, he or she will be smarter than the others. I think that’s not correct for me. I have it because I can pass Admission to learn at Kasetsart University and my brother gave me as a prize. There are many kinds of mobile phone now, more functional mobile phone is more expensive as number of its functions. I choose Nokia 3230 because it has functions that I really need. For example, it can play the music, can take a photo and etc. I think the other “material things” is the same as mobile phone, you should use them necessarily. Finally, if you must to buy something, don’t forget to consider in price and necessity carefully.

I can say that they are just materials but can make me easier to live, like when i was in highschool and finished school , i wanted to tell my dad it's time to pick me up and i was thinking about public phone, but then i saw like 20 students were waiting for the phone. I decided to let my parents know this problem, so they bought me a phone. But mine is not a new model, it's very old one, so i don't think there is any problem?
and about digital camera, well i accepted i bought it becuase of my wish, my desired, but it's useful to me, i love taking pictures, i am always the one who like to take pictures in the important event in my family,so i'm proud of my camera

I'm interested in things like mobile phones and note-book computers. They make me comfortable because they have many functions. These things are rather expensive and luxurious for kids.
Now a lot of new technology get into our country. Various things result in changing people into materialism more than idealism. For me, I don't often change my moblie phone because it is still in good efficiency. I like brand-name products but I only buy things that is not too expensive. So I try to use plain or thai-made products in order to reduce currency out of our country.

Nowadays I thing a teenager and a material thing are suppose to be a partnership. NokiaN70 is the only one material thing I have. I accept that the influences making me more desire are from friends and social. It is very hard to exert self-control while I’m in the mobile phone shop, the magic technology attacked me stare at with unconscious. The expensive price is a great reason to suppress one’s feeling. I got mobile phone from my uncle after I passed the bother Admission to Kasetsart University. It’s necessary for life in Bangkok because of a lot of danger in town such as crime car accident making many parent concerned, so I have to tell my mom wherever I go or where I am. Diverse, the life in country it’s no much effect if they don’t have it. But ones time that I lost my mobile phone I found that surprising I can live! Not only that, I feel good because there are no worry about stealing or losing even or boring lines. However for the people who already have it I wish you will see its worth.

It's good to know that many of you are aware of what is essential in life and what's not.
When I see teenagers dressed up in very expensive outfits, using expensive mobile phones and doing nothing but spending absurd amount of money, I do feel very sorry for them. My guess is that they have no one to tell them what to do and what not to do.
These 'fashion' things come and go quickly. So, don't let yourself become 'blind'. Just like many of your friends said: know what you spend your money for!

I think , sometimes I'm a material kids either.
In my opinion ,teenagers are usually have a similar interesting and follow the fashion. It's not a good things because they can't earn money by themself.
I have mobile phone , mp3 and digital camera too and i'm another one who choose them because "image" and modernity but sometimes, mobilephones are necessary for me to contact with my mother when i'm away from home.
If t don't have mobilephone , i think it will be a bad thing for me because i like to talk on the phone abd sending message.

In the present time, Material things influence society very much because they can make us comfortable. Just a Material thing, Mobile phone, can phone, take a photo and listen to the music. Consequently, requirement of Material things increase in a short time.
I agree that I’m one of Material kids too. I am often excited by the new Materials and want to get them. I think everybody is the same as me. But I don’t buy everything which I want as something isn’t necessary for me. When I pay for a material thing, I always ask my self “Does it cover the cost?”. For example, I bought MP3 player for listening the music last year. After that I bought MP4 player in this year because it has more functions than MP3. “Play clip VDO” is the special function, which make me bought it. When I use it, I find that I hardly play this function. I just use it for listen the music. I shouldn’t buy MP4 player.
Thus, I know that I should think before I buy some things. Don’t just look at the image.

In these days, we can see that material things such as mobile phone, mp3 player and digital camera are widely used among teenagers. Well, I am one of that ‘material kids’ since I have got all of that items. In my opinion, sometimes these material things are essential to our daily life, because, for instance, I have to use mobile phone to communicate with other people. However, these materials are quite extravagant and expensive. Sometimes these things are not necessary. We can see that we do have to use many functions of the phone; regularly, we use phone only for calling. Thus, we should decide economically whether to buy them or not--we should think about the opportunity cost we have to give in order to obtain them, for example, we have to give up our money our parents money which should be saved or used to buy other more beneficial things.
In my opinion gadgets like moblie phones mp3 player digital cameras is necessary for life.Its makes you have better life style and more comfortable.But I think student should buy an inexpensive instead brand-name gadgets because you dont have income

I use my mobile phone for 2 years and I think it can use for a long time after today.I don't have digital camera but I have second hand manual camera ,which is my first salary.I don't have mp3 player.When I want to listen music I just turn on my radio. Life is easy for me. I don't know about more mobiles and mp3 series although I always run after technology.It make me see through producer and designer what they want.

Nowaday,Technologies have been developed to modern style.So it’s eazy to induce the teenagers who is pay the things without making a great decision ,hence it’s the serious troubles for the teenage parents.
Moblie phones are necessary for us at present time because they can help your family to connect and control your behavior (except…you don’t tell the truth). I’m not the material kids , I just have the mobile phone for talk to my family and friends since I want to know about their daily life and for show my love.
