Do you still remember those 'Bollywood dancers' I told you about in class? Those two students who 'danced' along the street in front of my kid's school at 4.30 p.m.--the busiest time of the day!
Do you still remember the two devils in high school uniform I found 'body-searching' and 'kissing' in a glass elevator full of people at around 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon in a crowded department store?
What has got into their minds? Are these acceptable behaviours among teens?
In both cases, those 'in action' were wearing their uniforms. The first couple were just 'Bollywood dancing' along the street--hiding behind trees, running and hugging and giggling. The second ones were beyond my imagination. I still couldn't understand why they didn't feel 'shy'.
Don't get me wrong. I was educated in the US. I saw kids kissing at malls, supermarket, or even in the back of a bus. Still, I've never thought it's appropriate. Even American parents don't think that it's appropriate. So, don't blame the western culture. It's us who 'choose' to behave a certain way. These behaviours are done by 'choice'. You choose to do it.
Teens can fall in love. They can hug. They can kiss. But in private! Love is a very delicate matter. You can easily turn something so beautiful and romantic into something really nasty and disgusting. The very thin line that separate us from other animals is right there where you can stop yourself from putting a 'show' in public!

About Bollywood dancers and two young devils.Love is beautiful and perceivable of two persons.But these should have to limit of it.Although they love each other very much,they ought to know and shy with persons on all sides.It may be don't blame for the western culture.They should realize’’here is thailand’’ which people don’t accept with this.
IF I think in other words.They might be young too much thence do behavior not suitable and not at the right time.

Ummm.. I think about ‘Bollywood dancerd’ that’s too laughtable. They don’t care anybody who were watching them.If I were them I would be really shy and embarrass 555+. I know love is a good thing.Hugging and Kissing are sign of affection among a boy and girl, but you shouldn’t do it at whatever time and place.Kissing in public is dirty,especially for a girl. I mean it look you’re an easy virtue girl. That’s too bad!! na ka

I think,it is unsightly behavior. About this story I think,it is unappropriate because this age is teenagers who should studying.Although now love isn't a wrong thing but this doing isn't acknowledge in Thailand or Thai's culture.Thai people perceive this story is a private affair that it should not do in the public place.Also the doers are teenagers in high school so I think, it's embarrassing.

I think,love in a student is not a wrong thing but we should beware a behavior to do a suitable thing for ourself. About Bollywood dancers and two young devils are not polite to do in a public place or in a student uniform and suitable for thai culture.
Human should realize what they have do or not, or what suits for doing or not. They should know how to stop their thoughts and their behaviors.

I think their behaviors aren’t appropriate because they don’t respect their uniforms. They didn’t feel shy to show their love which is a private action. They must forget that ‘this is Thailand’. I think love is a good thing but you must have consciousness when you have love.

'Bollywood dancers'…..First time, I have listened to your story, I have really funny and thought that was joke story. But I try to think it again after I have already read your blog, I find that is very serious joke story.
I don’t know what that couple thought to do those things in public places but I’m sure I won’t do such like those things. In the past I ever thought doing those things weren’t wrong in public place and I always blame the western culture. Now I know I myself misunderstand about the western culture.
I know about different of instinct human and animals, the very thin line that separate us from other animals is right there where you can stop yourself from putting a 'show' in public!, that is truly correct and I agree with U.
In my point of view, everyone can hug, kiss and etc but only one you must recognize "Is it appropriate?".

In my opinion, it's very unsuitable to show those behaviours among the crowd. Especially, when wearing high school uniforms or university uniforms because it makes other people look down upon your parents, and your institutions will lose reputation too.
Not only A.Primchai but also me used to run into the same situation. Around 3 years ago when I took and extra tutorial class at Siam Square, I found "body-searching" in a crowded extra class room. I thought it is too fast for adolescent to do something like this.
In summary, everyone can fall in love but you ought to choose private places to display your feeling with your lover, such as, hug and kiss.

I think these behavior of teenagers in this story aren't appropriate. Even if now world step into a new period but culture and tradition remain at now. Thai peple have to act culture and tradition strictly but sometimes Thai peple admit the western culture. Now,Thai teenagers copy the western culture to spend to daily life very much. But some culture don't appropriate to show in public such as "kissing" which the other Thai people don't admit it because it looks disgusting. Moreover,in this story,teenagers kiss among a crowd in the department store.It does beyond limits. The other people think that it's misconduct which doesn't occur to Thai teenagers. When a couple wants to kiss,they must to do out of sight,don't show in public. Because children may observe them. Thailand is a nation which have nice culture and tradition Thai teenagers must keep and succeed to a younger generation.

Love is beautiful for everyone, but how do we show about love? Some culture accept the act which many people show their love in public place, but not Thai culture. Because, Thai people think it's unsuitable, but we can touch one's hand and walk together. Thai people usually show their love such as Kissing or sex in personal place because they think they accredit for their special person.

After I listen your situation. I think it's very bad and I can't accept this behavior because it is'nt suitable although it"s a personal right. Thai is the nation that has the good culture and practice long time ago and the ancestors have inherited to their descendant.But nowaday Thai people admit the western culture too much therefore it give result to Thai's behavior especially for the teenager. In my opinion, i don't agree with couple teenagers who still students kiss and hug.However, i know it's their rights to do that.

For me I think there is no any right or wrong about the human behavior ,but the action we show is from the thought. So ,it's the cause why we learn a lot. We study to know what can do or not in which time or place. This thing construct the custom social in each other country and the people at that place have to act at this way like everyone do. For someone like Bollywood dancers or two young devils there are no go to warn or admonish ,they are may didn't get any knowledge from studying because of thier abnormal brain or something eles I don't know.
However ,in Thailand it's very obscene and filthy to do like this in the presence of people.

Refer to Thai culture, kissing and hugging or showing affection is unacceptable in public. As we know love is good, but to show your love or affection to your lover does matter. In nowadays, we Thai people received more western culture. Something just don’t look right when you do it in Thailand (or any places else.) Teenagers want to express their feeling and emotion that’s the right they can do. But sometime they just do it the wrong way. I think not every youngster want to make out or show their love in public places.
